  1. I use that Kroger frozen yellow pepper and onion mix at least once a week. It's so easy and affordable

  2. Awesome I'm going to try all of those! Thanks for sharing them and we have subscribed now! Keep up the great videos !

  3. Thanks for this, I’m definitely trying to find some easier dinner ideas and these were great. I have 3 vegetarians and myself (WFPB) to cook for. One is my husband, one is a picky toddler and and my 10 month old baby who’s eating just about everything I give her. I definitely struggle trying to please everyone in the same meal but these tips really helped! Frozen veggies to the rescue!

  4. I love using all of Kroger frozen vegetables. They have chopped onions (hate cutting onions). A celery, onion and carrot mix. Green pepper, chopped broccoli, chopped spinach. I get home from work and toss a sweet potato or golden potato in the microwave or heat up some left over brown rice while I’m changing my clothes (ok putting on my P.J.’s). Add a little bit from a couple of different bags of frozen veggies in the steamer. Toss it all in a bowl with some rinsed canned beans. Top with Tamari Sauce, Sweet Chili Sauce or even BBQ Sauce. I call it a “Buddha Bowl”. What could be more simple, I’m eating within about 15-20 minutes after getting home and it’s a healthy cheap plant based meal.

  5. I did immediately notice the creole seasoning on the counter, my family have been using it for a couple decades at least very good, however please take note in my opinion you have to be very careful as to not over apply this delicious seasoning as you may find out it packs a punch awesome video also

  6. I love to eat sour cream with potatoes sometimes food with dairy hold me back from consuming a plant based diet.

  7. You are a godsend! I’m a single mom with two kids and two jobs and these are so easy – perfect for busy nights (which is every night around here!) thank you!!

Fried rice is my go to quick meal too! I don't remember if you've mentioned this but does TVP work okay in chili? My husband likes the chili to have a meaty consistency to it or else he calls it dip lol.

  9. I like to cook, I just hate the mess I make lol. Seems like I can never efficiently clean as I go. Thanks for the suggestions though, I’m looking forward to that fried rice! I’ve been vegan for 4.5 years and never even heard of TVP. How interesting.

  10. Not all sauces in frozen foods are weird. I have two containers of Tony chachere's Creole seasoning and I hate them! They are far too hot for me. I accidentally ordered 360 corn tortillas. I use them in twos but what do I need to do to stop the spine from breaking I can't seem to fold them even when I Heat them. I heard fried Rex! Yes use day-old rice so nobody is going to stand 30 or 40 minutes the night of their dinner cooking rice it would have been cooked the night before. It also doesn't take 30 or 40 minutes to cook rice. I get 5 lb bags of TVP from Hoosier Hill Farms and I have heard some people wonder about the brand and it is a terrific brand also for nutritional yeast it comes in a 1-pound canister for about the same price as Bob's Red Mill that is nowhere near a pound. You can also add gravy Browning and Seasonings to the TVP so that looks like ground beef.

  11. mine is kind of creating a well balanced plant based meal. Im pretty good at it but, sometimes the meals get boring and im on a budget so recipes with lots of ingredients is difficult

  12. Did you see all of the amazing Simple Truth digital coupons for Plus Cards? I’ve been stocking up big time. I’m glad you showed the TVP because I honestly was hesitant to try it. I’d love to see some microwave recipes and even super simple cold meal ideas. I like to travel and sometimes only have a microwave or a camp fire or tossing stuff together from the cooler while we’re on the road. This will be my first time traveling on a plant based diet so I need all the help I can get!

  13. My family has used that brand of Creole seasoning for years! It's very tasty. Thanks for sharing your ideas!

  14. My biggest frustration in the kitchen is vegan meal prepping for my large family. I have my husband and I and 3 teenage boys that are all over 6’4”. We need a lot of food at dinner time and there are no YouTubers that are both vegan and have large families to get advice from.
