Yes keto and if is the best way to go I was so addicted to sugar and processed carbs the habit was hard to break I haven't had sugar or processed carbs in a month and don't even crave them I have so much energy my appetite has decreased I can go hours without eating I have lost 15 pds in one month my goal is to get under 200 pds I just need more motivation to get there

  2. Dukes Mayo has no sugar. However, low fat Dukes does. It’s made in Richmond, VA. It’s available all over in the east, but I ship it to my daughter in Washington state.

  3. Keep a watch on nuts, high in Omega 6s. But go right ahead and eat almond butter, it's got plenty of Omega 6s. Nice logic. 👍

    Also, animal fats are nothing more than white adipose tissue, the same tissue your trying to lose, excluding fish fats which are highly nutrient dense.

    Unless you yourself grassfed Wilbur the pig every day, you have zero control over what Wilbur put in his fatty tissue. Probably a high Omega 6 content. Cheaper cost of feeding.

    Golden rule of Keto, keep it plant based as much as possible, and prioritize Omega-3 over all else. You control the nutrient sources this way, not Old McDonald the friendly factory farmer.

  4. I'm pretty much eating chicken, cashews, avacados, bananas and cheddar cheese. I just started and dropped a few pounds over the weekend. Love these tips. no more beer for sure, that made me a total fatass. Is peanut butter ok? It's the only thing I crave

  6. The now famous “keto proof” Coffee? Interesting; I’ve been showing people how to do this diet for a couple years now, and never heard that one before. Keto coffee and bulletproof coffee, yes, but keto proof, no.

    I eat 1 1/2 pounds of fatty hamburger meat 77/23 a day with vegetables and plenty of salt. my keto diet high protein and moderate fat and very streamlined. I've lost about 50 pounds in 10 weeks.

  9. Yes you do have to watch your fat intake and no you can't drizzle endless amounts of fat on everything. You're asking for gallstones ,heart disease and liver problems . You need things in moderation,period. She sounds like Atkins. Fad diets don't last .gallstones are painful and there's no cure for problems after removal.

    Go for:
    Fatty fish
    Dark meat
    Above ground green veggies
    Hard cheese
    Green fed churned butter
    Cream
    Yogurt
    Nutty oils
    Eggs
    Offal / organs
    Some coffee/tea
    Bone broth

    Limit:
    Mushrooms
    Tomatoes
    Garlic
    Beets
    Bell peppers
    Eggplant
    Soft cheeses
    Black tea max 2/day or
    Coffee max 2/day
    Unsweetened almond milk
    Citrus with water

    No condiments w/sugar
    No potatoes
    No fruit flavoured teas
    No bananas

  12. I live in a place where getting healthy and fresh food is over expensive (I know its like that in just about all the world) so it's extremely hard to eat healthy because I can't afford it. There also isn't as much variety on foods available. As a teen in college I'd love to lose weight and want to try a good diet that I can follow. Any tips?

    P.s. I do try to exercise but don't have the time.

  14. Misinformed. If you choose to eat bacon bc Keto "allows" it, you are foolish and do not understand dieting. Keto is a high protein and healthy fat diet. Bacon, is not the right choice. This is what we call the dirty Keto. Sure you'll still lose weight and follow the macros but it'll clog your artirries and it will slow your body down.

  16. Green beans actually have about 7g of carbohydrates per cup while white mushrooms only have about 2.3g of carbs per cup! Other than that great beginner video. I’ve been doing keto for almost a year and it’s such an easy diet once you get the hang of it!

  17. How many calories should you eat in order to throw your body in keto? I only eat 1200 a day and have been on keto for 3 weeks, yet, I have not gone into ketosis. I have a feeling it's because I eat so much protein, but still…
