  1. Hi Elizabeth. I've been investigating the AIP diet lately. I have Crohn's disease, Fibromyalgia and shingles. Thank you for sharing, it gives me confidence to give it a go. Watching your cooking segment is encouraging too! I'd be really interested to see a progress video from time to time.

Hello, it's so true we are what we eat. I started on the Paleo diet with the 'Whole 30" which helped me a lot to find my trigger foods on my health issues. After the first year I found that the Keto diet was even better for me, I'm off meds and have no more health issues. I still base my Keto diet on the Paleo food pyramid, but absolute sugar free, very low carbs, and high on good fats.

  3. I was taking humira and the manufacturer has an assistance program. My doc office signed me up for it. I'm not on any assistance and we usually make to much to qualify for anything. Anyways ask your doctor's office to sign you up for it. For my $5000 a month prescription I paid $5 a month

  4. So funny with the gnat. Sorry didn't mean to find it funny, but that has happened to me! Thanks for sharing! You look so refreshed! So glad you're doing bette! God bless you both!

I sent my daughter who has psoriasis this video. The liver problems seem to be a common factor so she is using an herb called Berberine for liver cleanse. You might check it out. Thanks Elizabeth!

  6. Hi from SE Iowa. Thank you for this video! I have watched it twice now. I am so glad the paleo diet is working for you. My husband and I are eating Low Carb and what a difference it has made in our health. We went to a Nutritionist and she is so helpful. Medical doctors may not suggest a Nutritionist. I did a web search of Keto doctor in my area and she was listed. Maybe others can do a search also. I wish you and Bill the best in this new chapter of your life. God bless you both

  7. I'm ♥️ grateful to share this option with my friend who has asthma and fibro ….LOVED the blooper ending (it seems like you're living MY life, lol 😂)

Forwarded an email from the manufacturer… I sent it to Billk@keller… forgive me.. I will now sit in the corner.

  9. Elizabeth you are priceless!! Well done with paleo diet, your meal looked to be really yummy, hope your health continues to improve xx

  10. I can tell by your face you have lost some weight. I am going to research this because I have gained about 40 lbs. since my husband passed away in 2017. I really need to get this back off because it is affecting my health.

  11. I have just recently started to make my own Kefir from the milk grains, amazing fermented food. Do research on this process, so interesting.I have more energy than I have ever had before.Anything fermented so good for the gut.Elizabeth, I think it is the unsulfured molasses that you should be taking, there again do some research.Amber.

  12. Congratulations on discovering what is good for you. I have been KETO for two years, very similar to Paleo, only stricter o the sugars. I have lost a lot of weight, and my energy level, health have been nothing short of a miracle (I’m older than you). I now have gotten to the point of eating one “real” meal a day, and I don’t feel at all deprived or hungry, which is absolutely key. I eventually reduced all “natural” sugars (yeah, fruit. even parsnips, sweet potato!) Dr. Ken Berry (YouTube) has a great KETO lemonade that helps replace the sodium levels you might need. (Sodium is the queen of electrolytes and is essential!). If you want to be REALLY encouraged at all the foods you can eat, check out Makhailia Peterson”s YouTube channel. This gal had HUGE autoimmune issues from the time she was born, major operations (hip and ankle replacements) at a very early age. After listening to her and what her diet protocol is to keep herself healthy, you will feel sooo good about all the foods you can eat.

  13. Your skin is glowing in this video. Enough said!! Congratulations on finding something that works for you. God bless. Thanks for sharing!

  14. Absolutely the way to go! I have severe arthritis, and this diet is healing. The Keto diet has served me better, but the two are very similar. Awesome video!

  15. I too need to do AIP. I need to take baby steps. Sarah is amazing with her knowledge…and I believe 100% that if you heal the leaky gut…your body will stop attacking itself and heal.

  16. Hi Elizabeth! I think I may be dealing with an auto-immune disease. 6 years ago. I supposedly had two inner ear viruses in one year. I find that hard to believe. I began having ear issues 8 years before menopause began. I was having difficulties climbing a ladder to change lightbulbs. I had to be very careful. ETD, tinnitus, balances problems and it is now affecting my throat and possibly my vision. I had to do a lot of research as the doctors were just shaking their heads and sending me on my way. Last year I removed processed food, dairy and I use Virgin coconut oil in my morning coffee. I need to do more reading up on this paleo diet. I am sure there are some things I am still eating that I shouldn’t be eating. Thanks for sharing. I think your are looking great! God bless!

We are on the Keto right now. Just to get of carbs. We both have lost weight. Plus, inflammation in my joints are much better. I had a lot of swelling in my legs, hands and feet. It went down the first week. We are planning on doing the Paleo/Keto. Basically healthy no carb. Thanks for your video. Rhonda

  21. I only recently found your channel. I'm excited about the thrive food line. I will probably order some of that from your affiliate link. As someone who has had issues with allergies, skin problems, being allergic to food, gastrointestinal issues, breathing issues, all these things, I also have had these things. I'm going to tell you the thing that nobody wants to talk about. 95% of humans are infected with parasites and have overgrowth of mites. Doctors aren't talking about it. it causes a lot of the issues. Inflammation is a major thing and that's what most people have come to realize is that inflammation causes most dis Ease. well somehow or another these parasites help to create that inflammation in my opinion. learn about treating yourself naturally for parasites and it will improve everything in my opinion. I have a video up about it I'm a non monetized channel trying to help people. Food grade DE and a product called intestinal Edge clears the body.
I ate paleo for many years and now I'm not as strict. I avoid gluten, am allergic to eggs, eat miniscule dairy and I love a lot of fruit nowadays.

  22. My doctor recommended the AIP Paleo by Sarah Ballantyne. I still haven't bought the text(book) but I borrowed it from the library and researched all the food to eat and not eat. And I borrowed the cookbook as well. I really need to buy my own copies, though.

I tried to stick to the AIP part of the Paleo b/c I have autoimmune diseases as well (ulcerative colitis, asthma, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, and psoriasis on my scalp that can itch like crazy). I stayed on the Paleo for about a year and lost 40 lbs., then I fell off the wagon and gained 20 lbs. I felt really good at work. I work in a grocery store as a grocery clerk (shelving all the processed food we need to avoid like the plague). My fingernails were awesome: no more splitting and they grew like crazy. Must be all the protein.

Anyhoo, best of luck in your efforts and please share anything you think is awesome to eat. I like your idea of the binder with a list of what to eat and not eat and adding recipes you like. You are inspiring me to return to the AIP! Thanks so much.

  23. I had to give up all meats. I only eat fish tons of veggies and healthy oils. Meats usually trigger flare ups. I’ve been medication free going in 6 years. I do have RA, Fibromyalgia, Sarcoidosis of the lungs. As for the meds I know how expensive it can be, I was also on Humira it’s great but WOW!! Best of luck to you both!! Blessings
