    Great subject to speak about. I’ve been a personal trainer for 15 years and this is always a very interesting subject to speak about, and challenging. Some people get very good results with intermittent fasting but it’s not for everyone. Great video😀

  4. It's American advertisings fault that people think eating donuts for breakfast is a good idea. Donuts are sort of ok as a sometimes "one off" snack, like a cookie or candy, but DEFINITELY NOT A DAY STARTER.

  5. I completely disagree with the demonization of sausage, but do understand it. Most sausage in America is junk. Run far away from any bacon or sausage which touts "mechanically separated", as that's 'junk meat' and beaks, bones, claws, etc., etc. There are a couple of reputable companies which make decent sausage, OR, have a butcher ground meat and thus make your own (adding apples & spices). No reason to eliminate that wonderful product from ones diet completely.

  6. As I am retired, I do not usually have breakfast. I normally have some milk and my medications, then something to eat at about 11am, then something about 3 to 4pm. Followed by a small dinner with no carb when my hubby comes home.

  7. I rarely eat pancakes, but when I do, I use sweet potato pancake mix. Just curious about your thoughts on the nutritional value of sweet potato mix.

    Almonds have Phytates in them and are Goitregenic and not so good for the thyroid gland and the Endocrine system. Just sayin.' I avoid Almonds and products with almonds in them.

  9. I have Nutrisystem chocolate chip muffins, cinnamon roll or their breakfast sandwich. Absolutely delicious and I’ve lost 18 pounds in 6 weeks

  10. Conventionally grown grains make me tired even if they are whole grain. Organic is fine but if I eat wheat and oats I want to go back to bed.

  11. Food is fuel. Our bodies are organic reactions. Food is supposed to prepare us for potential activity. How much and when? The frequency of eating partly determines our metabolic rates. How much we eat is just as important as what if any potential value that which we ingest has? Very small portions of unhealthy foods, mixed with more practical fuels is okay. Eating is deeply socially ingrained.

  14. Breakfast just means break the fast. Doesnt have to be when u wake up. It is the most important meal regardless of when u eat it bc it gives you energy to get your body going for the day. I feel depending bow long u have fasted determines when u should eat.

  15. My go-to breakfast when i can make it now days is simple… eggs & bacon with fruit like strawberries, & of course coffee! I leave out toast usually to cut down on bread, & only have blueberry pancakes a few times a month.

  16. I can't eat pancakes. My mom used to make bran pancakes as a kid. Yuck!!! And even wheat pancakes. I know she was just trying to get us to eat healthy. I don't even like looking @ a pancake anymore lol. RIP Mom I Love You ♡♡♡
